PRESENT SIMPLE

We use the Simple Present to express habits or routines. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens. It can also be something a person often forgets or usually does not do. It is also used to talk about "permanent states" and "universal truths"

Example:
I always have coffee for breakfast.  ( habit)
The Pope lives in The Vatican. ( permanent state)
Water boils at 100º centigrades. ( universal truth)
